I want to take a moment and share something that I was given to me as a surprise by my road dog Dustin Davis and his wife my partner in Banding4Benefits Christina Davis the night before the 4th Annual Banding4Benefits Veterans Poker Run. This is plaque is of a flag that was flown by Dustin Davis and his unit in Shaddadi, Syria when he was deployed there for almost a full year last year in 2025 into 2026 before he got back. To honor & spread the word of what this organization is about and what the mission of this organization is. I was overwhelmed with emotions when given to me the night of June 19th 2026. I was honored that he thought of this organization while being deployed over there as him and his wife decided it before he went over to Syria that they were going to do this. I can't thank them enough this means the world to me

This is the sort of thing besides when we present checks to the stops, and the day of the ride when we are each stop and seeing the veterans smile when we are there, all this lets me know what I am doing with this organization is the right thing . But with this plague I am more determined to spread the word to all over to let veterans and their establishments that you're not alone that we are here to honor you and these places. That you're not all alone that we will do what we can to help you veterans and the establishment such as VFWs, Legions and AmVets. Help spread the world please share this page invite people to this page.

The numbers are finally in for the 4th Annual Banding4Benefits Veterans Poker Run and this year's total is the biggest yet. We raised a total of $11,000 yes that's right $11,000 for the Veterans and their establishments that were on this year's ride. So that means each stop will get $2,200 to help their veterans with anything they may need or help that certain establishment with whatever they need that will benefit their Veterans.

I want to thank all the riders, passengers, cars, jeeps and their passengers for coming on the ride. I want to thank all of you that bought 50/50 tickets, raffle tickets, shirts, koozies, bracelets you made this happen by doing all of that and coming on the ride as well. I want to thank all the places that donated raffle baskets, gift cards, shirts, hats, statues, and everything else to help us raise the money that we did. And I want to thank all of the sponsors of the 4th Annual Banding4Benefits Veterans Poker Run without you we couldn't of raised the money that we did this year to make 💯 of the proceeds to the Veterans. And I want to thank each and everyone of you that came on this ride. It means a lot to me and my partner Christina Davis that you took time out of your weekend to join us for a day celebrating and honoring our Veterans without you all this wouldn't be possible. I want to take a minute here and give a huge thank you to key roleplayer of Banding4Benefits Organization and Poker Run Christina Davis. I get a lot of thank yous and saying Matt you're doing great things with this organization we can't thank you enough for all that you do for this and the Veterans. I always say back it just isn't me it's my partner and best friend Christina. Shes the one that pushed me to make this organization after talking about for so long. She said quit just talking about do it and so that day at OPP 4 years ago April of 2022 it was born. She's always there when I need to bounce ideas off of someone or get an opinion or ask her things to make sure if I'm thinking through this the correct way. She's with my every step of the way giving her input her ideas etc etc. She always helping making sure things are done correctly and we are testing things. But this year this is for sure was a lot of her the 4th Annual Banding4Benefits Veterans Poker Run was special to her because her place of work the Clinton AmVets was on this year's ride. And we had to make sure this year's run was as perfect as we could get it with a great route and scenic run. And she blew the doors off of it and then some. We also wanted to make it special for the her husband and my road dog Dustin Davis and some others that were deployed last year and belonged to some of the places on this year's run. So I want to take this opportunity to thank you Christina for everything. For always having my back on this run and organization and helping me every step of the way. It means the world to me and you deserve to be recognized for all your hard work and dedication. I want you to know it doesn't go unnoticed at all and I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. Thanks for helping me make this what it is and what it has become I couldn't do it without you.

I am waiting for the numbers from the t-shirt sales and one more check coming in from a company that wanted to donate after seeing the Ride. Should have the final total by tomorrow evening or Monday. Thanks for your patience just want to get all the money in first before I give a total. Again thanks for making this a successful year

I want to take a moment and thank all of you who came yesterday to honor and celebrate Veterans while visiting them in their veteran establishments. To raise awareness of these places and money to help those veterans of those places. It meant a lot to me and my partner Christina to see all the bikes, jeeps and cars. I am very overwhelmed with all that showed up for this event. I am honored that so many believe in this cause as much as we do,

I want to thank the employees of each stop for rocking it out with so many of us there at each stop. Want to thank all the cops that blocked for us and Clinton Police department for the es**rt into Clinton that was absolutely amazing. To my blockers that kept us safe and made sure we were protected. Thanks to all of our sponsors without them a lot of this wouldn't of been possible at all. And Diane Miller of Preston American Legion she absolutely helped a huge chunk with set up of Preston in the park and all the blocking in that area and in & out of Sabula too. Molly Shannon- Singer/Musician for her amazing vocals and wonderful music keeping all of us entertained at the last stop and her letting me use her microphone to announce things
Want to thank my road dog Dustin Davis for everything he did to prepare this route. Randy Gomez for taking the lead on blocking & Melissa Gomez for all her printing and typing skills of everything we needed. And of course my bestie Christina Davis for her putting up with me while doing this and starting this. Our numerous frustrations along the way with getting things together to my numerous requests and everything in-between she was still there saying we got this and we can get through I am truly grateful for her.

It's the 4th Annual Banding4Benefits Veterans Poker. Its going to be nice ride with lots of miles, curves and wonderful scenery while we honor and raise money for Veterans and their establishments such as VFWs, Legions, AmVets, VVA's and Veteran Lodges. We will thank the Veterans at each stop, talk to them to get to know them, buy them a drink chip for later to have drink on us later on. Then off to the next stop to do it all over again at the next stop till we hit our last stop at Lady Di's (Eldridge VFW) since they don't have a building.

Registration is from 8:45am to 10:15am
$10 rider
$5 passenger
$20 for vehicles

At Last Stop Lady Di's:
There will be raffle Baskets, raffle prizes, best poker hand prizes, silent auction items and 50/50 at Lady Di's. Gun raffle tickets will be available the whole ride for a chance to win Springfield Armory XD Mod 4 9mm pistol retailed at $400.
