The QCSAPC would like to wish everyone a Happy Red Ribbon Week 2022! This year's theme is "Celebrate Life. Live Drug Free".

If you're not familiar with Red Ribbon Week, it is a weeklong event that takes place from October 23rd through the 31st every year and is the oldest and largest drug prevention awareness program. Red Ribbon Week was created to honor Enrique (Kiki) Camarena who was a DEA agent that was killed while investigating illegal drug activities. To honor his life, memory, and his battle against illegal drugs, friends and neighbors began to wear red badges of satin which led to the national Red Ribbon campaign that we celebrate today.

If you would like to know how you can celebrate Red Ribbon Week and to find fun activities to participate in, you can contact CADS Prevention Department at 563-326-4116 (press 4 for Prevention) or visit www.redribbon.org!
