It's Saturday, and you know what that means... time for our weekly Soccer Saturday reminder!
As we get ready for game day, we want to remind everyone that safety, sportsmanship, and respect come first.

Players, please:

Play hard, play fair, and follow the rules.
Respect your teammates, opponents, coaches, officials, and spectators.
Keep your focus on encouraging your teammates and representing our team with pride.
Speak up if you are feeling hurt, unsafe, or uncomfortable- this behavior is not tolerated in our program.
Parents and spectators, thank you for helping create a positive environment. Please cheer for our players, respect officials and opposing teams, and allow coaches and players to do their jobs without sideline distractions or negative comments.

Remember, mistakes and tough calls are part of sports. How we respond to them says a lot about our team and our community.

Finally, each field has rules. Please keep these rules in mind and remind all family and friends coming to cheer on the players. Please refrain from smoking and va**ng on all fields. If there is a designated smoking area, we ask that you use that. Dogs are allowed at Hagy, but ONLY on the track and grassy area by the track. Dogs are NOT permitted on the soccer field. There is a reminder sign by the concession stand. Please clean up after your dog. Dogs are NOT allowed at/on Hawkrock and Newport fields. Please remember to park in designated parking areas- especially in Newport. Do not park in Newport's driveway.

Let's work together to make game day safe, positive, competitive, and fun for everyone.

Below you will find the link to the 2026 DMPSA program! Thank you to all of the coaches, players, and families! Thank you to Youth Sport photos for sending us professional pictures to make our program amazing!

We cannot wait to see everyone at the field, 8/29, for opening day. Players need to be ready and at the field by 8:15 and opening day will begin at 8:30 with games/scrimmages to follow!

We’re All Part of the Team! Please be kind and show sportsmanship to one another.

Parents, coaches, and players all play an important role in creating a positive and safe sports environment.

🛡️ **Put safety first.** Follow the rules, use proper equipment, listen to coaches, and speak up when something doesn’t feel right. We understand accidents happen, but we hope it is all in a safe and non-aggressive manner.

💬 ** Adults set a positive example.** Our athletes are watching how we respond to challenges, mistakes, victories, and defeats. They want to be like us someday, make it a good memory!

❤️ **Remember: It’s about more than the scoreboard.** Let’s build an environment where athletes can compete, have fun, grow, and feel supported.
