Thanks to everyone who read and commented on Goat Tree Telegraph's inaugural report on the DIPOA monthly Board meeting. The concept will be to review the previous month's meeting, and then see what transpires in the next month's meeting relative to what was said in the last meeting. Also, we can take a look back at meetings over the past months and years and see how projects are progressing.

It is refreshing to report that since it was mentioned on this page that minutes of the Association Board meetings that had not been posted on the DIPOA website since February 2024, have now been updated for this year. Other minutes from recent years are still missing, and hopefully they can be posted soon as well.

The video recording of the August 1, 2024 meeting has not yet been posted on the DIPOA page.

The next open meeting of the DIPOA Board will be Thursday, August 15, at 6:00 p.m. All Board meetings are required to be open to the membership, absent a compelling need to be held privately in Executive Session. Please attend or join by videoconference if you can.

The highlights of the next meeting will be posted on Goat Tree Telegraph.

The Goat Tree Telegraph crowd is headed to the Florida Keys after Christmas. Most of the Keys is like a 120 miles of Dauphin Island, but with absolutely beautiful water. Aside from Key West, the Florida Keys folks have somehow held developers at bay.

Dauphin Island locals, part time residents, and more distant owners may benefit from some tips offered by the Florida Keys folks as to how to preserve a paradise.

Goat Tree Telegraph will share all we learn from the Keys trip.

Merry Christmas!
