As many of you know, caring for Brownie on Daufuskie Island has become a community effort. His caretakers are running low on food and alfalfa cubes and are seeking help from our community. Opie is ready for his new home 🐱
He is a 1-2 year old neutered male. Fully vaccinated. Negative for FIV and FELV. Super friendly and affectionate! Would prefer he is kept indoors. Opie is a big cat; weighs about 14 pounds 😅 He is current on flea, tick and heartworm meds. Contact us today about adopting Opie 🖤

The Island’s Dogs 🖤 Bad Ass and Hot Mama. With their guardian’s permission, these sweet girls went to the vet today and received exams and vaccines 🙌🏻 plus flea, tick and heartworm prevention for the next year! Their total bill was $1264. Deer Field is a nonprofit 501c3 charity so all donations are tax deductible. Just let me know if you need a receipt 😀 We are also needing food for them. Smaller bags are easier to manage and we are trying to keep their diet consistent. Several weeks ago we trapped and helped vet a feral cat family consisting of Mom and six kittens 😳 These two were fully vetted and traveled to their new homes in Charleston ♥️ Mom and siblings are still getting socialized and ready for adoption…
