The countdown continues, and it’s time to meet another one of our lovely candidates! 🪩🌷

Say hello to Candidate #4 — Karlie Keith!

Karlie is the daughter of Torrey and Erin Keith. Throughout the year, she participates in managing Basketball and playing Softball!

When it comes to Red Rooster Days, Karlie’s favorite part is simple — the awesome chicken!

For Karlie, one of the best things about Dassel is being able to strike up a conversation with just about anyone. She also appreciates how organized our community events are and all that goes into making them happen.

Another Monday, another candidate to meet! 🌼✨

We’re continuing our countdown to Coronation by introducing Candidate #3 — Disa Dahlman!

Disa is the daughter of Brian and Tiffany Dahlman. You can find her participating in Girls Swim & Dive, Basketball, Link Crew, and Auxiliary.

Of all the fun that comes with Red Rooster Days, Disa’s favorite part is seeing all of the volunteers come together to make each event happen. From behind the scenes to the big events, it takes so many helping hands to make the weekend what it is!

That sense of community is also what Disa loves most about Dassel. For her, it’s the small-town feel and the way everyone knows everyone that makes our community such a special place to call home.

The Dassel Ambassadors and Candidates attended the last Red Rooster meeting before the Labor Day festivities begin in just a couple of weeks! They had the opportunity to introduce themselves, share a little about their summer, and tell the committee about some of the exciting things they’ve been up to!

On Thursday evening, Ella and Julia, along with two candidates, volunteered in the concession stand during the Regional Baseball Tournament at Saints Field. ⚾️

Labor Day Weekend is right around the corner, and we can’t wait for all the fun and excitement ahead! 🎉

The Cokato Royalty Coronation was held Tuesday evening, and Ambassadors Julia and Ella were excited to attend! 💚💛

It was a very emotional evening as they said goodbye to the Cokato Royalty and celebrated their very last out-of-town event. They had a wonderful time visiting with the visiting royalty, watching the coronation, and enjoying some carnival rides afterward! 🎡✨

Monday evening was the Cokato Corn Carnival Parade! 🌽✨

Our Ambassadors and Candidates had a wonderful time visiting with royalty from other communities and seeing so many familiar faces along the parade route. It was a great way to wrap up the last out-of-town parade for both the Ambassadors and Candidates before their very own parade on Labor Day Weekend!

It was such a bittersweet evening celebrating the Winsted Ambassadors as they passed on their crowns, while also realizing it was the last out-of-town event with the Cokato Royalty. It’s Monday! That means it’s time to meet another one of our candidates! 💫

Introducing Candidate #2 — Natalie Jones!

Natalie is the daughter of Aaron and Cassandra Jones. She stays busy with Girls Swim & Dive, Trapshooting, Robotics, Golf, National Honor Society, FFA, and serving as a student leader at her church.

She especially looks forward to the fireworks during Red Rooster Days!

For Natalie, what makes Dassel so special is its tight-knit community. She loves that the people who grow up here get to do so surrounded by such a loving and welcoming community.

We’re another week closer to the big day! Join us for Coronation on Saturday, September 5 at 6:00 p.m. at the DC Saints Field as we celebrate these lovely ladies.
