Community members are invited to join the Darwin Area Ditch Clean-Up tomorrow, Sunday, March 29.
Volunteers should gather at All Saints Lutheran Church at 4:00 p.m. to receive high-visibility vests and garbage bags. A meal will be provided after the clean-up by the Darwin Community Legacy Foundation.
If you plan to attend, please send a message if possible. Thank you to all our wonderful Darwin community volunteers!

No.6 - Darwin community celebrates Twine Ball 75th

The late Francis Johnson started creating what would become the famous Darwin MN Twine Ball 75 years ago.

In December 1957, he was quoted in the Litchfield Independent Review saying he started the Twine Ball on “a cold, snowy day in March 1950.”

The Darwin Community Legacy Foundation spearheaded the recognition of 2025 as a milestone year, in partnership with the City of Darwin.
