🌸 TEEN FAIRYTALE FLOWER FARM PROGRAM 🌸

Looking for something meaningful, creative, and hands-on for your teen this summer?

Join us on the flower farm for harvesting, bouquet making, nature study, flower drying, tea blending, farm projects, fairytales, friendship, and learning real-world skills in a beautiful outdoor setting.

Teens will have the opportunity to:
🌿 Harvest flowers and herbs
💐 Learn bouquet design and floral arranging
🌸 Create dried flower projects
🫖 Explore tea, culture, stories, and fairytales
🐝 Learn about pollinators, farming, and sustainability
🤝 Build confidence, responsibility, and teamwork
🌞 Enjoy a slower, wholesome summer experience outdoors

$20 per teen, per day

A boutique culinary + creative arts summer camp held on our private spray-free flower farm. Children spend their days baking, crafting, harvesting flowers, creating beautiful projects, and enjoying wholesome summer memories in small, carefully guided groups.

Petals & Pastry by Flying Starlings Inc® is part of the heart of what makes FS special — a calm, imaginative, relationship-based environment where children are truly known, encouraged, and included. Founded in 2018, Flying Starlings Inc® has become a leader in nature-based, creative, neurodiverse-inclusive education rooted in beauty, real connection, and meaningful childhood experiences.

As we come to the end of another homeschool drop-off year at Flying Starlings Inc®, we just want to pause and say thank you.

What made this year beautiful was not only the lessons, the art, the science, the stories, the flower farm, or the custom-designed learning experiences. It was the families. The kindhearted, loving, protective, thoughtful families who fill this place with goodness. And the children — creative, curious, funny, intelligent, and deeply loved children — who made each day meaningful.

The heart of Flying Starlings has never simply been curriculum. It has always been people. A community of families who value childhood, connection, learning, wonder, and kindness.

We are incredibly excited for the 2026 Homeschool Drop-Off Program year ahead. We are honored to share that we already have over 40 students enrolled for next year.

Our teen space is currently full, and any additional teen registrations will now be placed on a waiting list.

At this time, we only have three remaining spots available in the homeschool drop-off program.

To every family who trusted us with your children this year — thank you. The goodness of this place exists because of the goodness of the people within it. We are so grateful for all of you.

At Flying Starlings Inc®, we believe children flourish when they are genuinely heard, respected, and known.

This past week reminded us why that matters so deeply. One student asked if we could transform our indoor riding space into a playful fairytale battleground filled with forts, Nerf games, and imagination — so we listened. And in listening to one child, joy spread to many.

That is the heart of Flying Starlings Inc®.

We do not believe childhood should feel cold, performative, or one-size-fits-all. We believe learning environments should feel alive — filled with trust, creativity, movement, belonging, laughter, beauty, and emotional safety.

Every curriculum, space, activity, and experience we create is thoughtfully designed around the real children and families we serve. We pay attention when parents share. We pay attention when children speak. And because of that, something authentic grows here that cannot be manufactured: confidence, kindness, connection, leadership, imagination, and a genuine love of learning.

Tomorrow is our final homeschool drop-off day of the year, and our hearts are full. Thank you to every family who trusted Flying Starlings Inc® with your children, your stories, and your season of childhood. More summer adventures are still ahead. 🌿

At Flying Starlings Inc®, flowers have always been part of our story.

Not simply for beauty — but because flowers invite children to slow down, observe carefully, create thoughtfully, and experience the world through wonder, scent, texture, color, and taste.

Our edible violas are beginning to bloom, and this summer children in Petals & Pastry will use edible flowers in whimsical culinary creations throughout camp. From floral teas and fairytale-inspired pastries to beautifully plated treats, children step into an environment filled with creativity, beauty, gentleness, and imagination the moment they arrive on the farm.

As an edible flower and educational farm, Flying Starlings Inc® blends culinary arts, nature, storytelling, and hands-on learning into experiences children remember deeply.

This week at Flying Starlings Inc®, our children are stepping into the kitchen with purpose and joy 🤍

They are preparing for their Bake Sale, using their hands, minds, and hearts to create treats to share with family and friends.

From measuring and mixing to patience and presentation, these moments are more than baking—they are building confidence, independence, and pride in their work.

There is something deeply meaningful about a child creating something from scratch and offering it to others. It teaches generosity, care, and the quiet beauty of giving.

Petals & Pastry – Culinary + Creative Camp

There is something so special about children gathered together—hands gently holding teacups, learning to create, share, and enjoy something beautiful.

This summer, we invite your child into a calm, joyful experience on our private flower farm through our Petals & Pastry Summer Camp—a culinary and creative program designed to nurture confidence, creativity, and connection.

Children will explore baking, edible flowers, and hands-on artistic expression in a peaceful, small-group setting where they are truly seen and valued.

🌿 Camp Dates Open:
June 16 – June 18
July 7 – July 9
July 21 – July 23
August 11 – August 13

Our camps are intentionally small and thoughtfully guided, allowing each child to move at their own pace while building real skills, friendships, and memories that stay with them.

This is more than a camp—it is a space where children feel safe, capable, and inspired.

There is something powerful that happens when children are trusted.

This week, our students created handmade gifts for their teachers. We gave them the materials, shared who the gift was for, offered gentle direction… and then stepped back.

What followed was beautiful.

You could see their eyes light up as they remembered favorite moments, farm adventures, lessons they loved, and the people who helped guide them. They wanted their teachers to hold those memories in their hands.

Some children painted carefully. Some led boldly. Some worked quietly with deep focus. Some proudly took charge of every detail.

And that is the deeper gift.

When children are given real agency, space to think, and freedom to create, something important develops:confidenceinitiativeproblem-solvingleadershipjoy

Research in developmental psychology and education consistently shows that autonomy-supportive environments help strengthen intrinsic motivation, creativity, engagement, and persistence in children. Studies in art education have also found that creativity flourishes when children are given ownership, room to revise, explore, and work at their own pace rather than simply copying preset outcomes. (ERIC)

As we close another beautiful year of Flying Starlings Inc® Homeschool Drop-Off, we are filled with gratitude for the laughter, growth, friendships, confidence, and meaningful learning that filled our little farm each week.

At Flying Starlings Inc® est 2018, we teach in small groups, allowing us to truly know each child, observe their strengths, support their challenges, and thoughtfully guide them within a warm, engaging community.

Our program is intentionally designed through The Living Childhood Method™ — a proprietary educational framework developed by Flying Starlings Inc® that structures the child’s day according to developmental biology, integrating movement, social interaction, creative play, and academic engagement within a carefully designed environment that promotes nervous system regulation, emotional safety, and cognitive growth.
