Slocum's River Reserve - DNRT The Slocum’s River Reserve, which protects more than 3,000 feet of frontage along the river, includes mature woodlands, agricultural fields, and pastures.

The Slocum’s River Reserve, which protects more than 3,000 feet of frontage along the Slocum’s River, includes mature woodlands, agricultural fields, and pastures that slope down to the western bank of the Slocum’s River. The Reserve has 2 miles of walking trails and is jointly owned and managed by the Trustees of Reservations and Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust. Trail easements connect the property to a long loop trail through Dartmoor Farm Wildlife Management Area to the west.

We are glad to see that many folks are seeking solace in nature during this difficult time. With the increased use of our properties, maps might not always be in stock. We encourage you to take a photo of the map in the kiosk, or visit dnrt.org/reserves, where all of our maps are available for download. If you do take a physical map, please sanitize your hands before and after touching the dispenser and, unlike normal circumstances, do not return it when you are done.

A new dog rule has been added to the list of rules at DNRT's dog friendly reserves: no more than 3 dogs per adult trail user.
