We are selling nuts once again this year. If you would like to support the Darrouzett Lions Club and all the little things that we do, please buy some nuts and hand them out at Christmas for stocking stuffers, or bake them in your favorite cookies.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to our neighbors at Booker Lions Club and the community during this time of loss.

Kellye Lynn Orel of Booker passed away this afternoon, Wednesday, August 12. She was the art teacher that every kid in Booker knew and loved. A creative, kind, and generous soul. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Our prayers are with her family.

Great news for our little town. Our community of theater now has WiFi. Thanks to the people at PTCI for helping us with the grant to have a WiFi provided to our little nonprofit.

I ran into Texas Blue Line BBQ from Perryton, Texas at the Lipscomb County Back to School Bash. And he was telling me that they are getting ready to open up a brick and mortar restaurant.

These people have been popular for years with their food truck and their lemonade stand. It is good food and I am so happy that they are opening up a new restaurant.
