Our Mission is to maintain and operate the North Mountain Lookout for the benefit of all people; to preserve our past and enhance our future. The Friends of North Mountain hold a vision of an authentic, well maintained and financially self-sustaining fire lookout tower available

to people of all backgrounds. North Mountain Lookout, like most fire lookouts, offers unparalleled views of the natural world. The restoration of the North Mountain lookout brought diverse groups of volunteers together to practice collaboration and cooperate in pursuit of a common goal. The lookout is now a source of pride to the community and is helping revitalize the local economy.

Workday at the lookout - June 7th, Sunday. Take off the shutters, cleanup & maintenance. Vegetation clearing, etc.

Gate will be open for the working hours, so come help or visit.
