The 2025 Great Pumpkin Metric is a scenic, rural bicycle tour through southwestern Indiana. Cyclists will ride through portions of Vanderburgh and Posey Counties and enjoy some of the best riding this region has to offer. Riders can choose from a 107K, 51K, or 23K route (66 miles/32 miles/15 miles).

This family-oriented ride offers challenges for every type of rider. Each route has rest stops with water and food, and sag wagons will be on the routes to help when needed. At the end of the ride, you will be greeted with music and a free pasta bar to give your legs a rest.

Vanderburgh County 4-H Fairgrounds at US 41 & Boonville-New Harmony Rd – 201 E Boonville-New Harmony Road, Evansville, IN 47725

Start Time: 8:00AM to 10:00AM (100K riders should start by 8:30AM). Arrive early to get ready to ride and shop with the vendors!

Calling all cyclists! The 41st Great Pumpkin Metric (GPM) is now open for registration! This scenic, rural bicycle tour takes you through the best of southwestern Indiana, with routes of 100K, 50K, and 25K (65 miles/31 miles/15.5 miles) to suit every type of rider. Along the way, you'll find rest stops with water and food, plus sag wagons to help if needed. when you reach the finish line, you'll be rewarded with, a free pasta bar ,Ice cream, and cold refreshments that can be purchased from Myriad Brewing.

Don't miss out on this family-friendly event – join us for the 41st Great Pumpkin Metric on October 1st 2023. The GPM Bicycle Tour creates a means for the Evansville Bicycle Club to support programs for the benefit of cyclists of all ages, skills and abilities. The EBC, through financial and volunteer efforts, supports local, state and national organizations that promote safety, education and recreation for cyclists. Examples of the events supported by the EBC over the years include iCan Bike, Evansville Area Trails Coalition, Streets Alive, and The Ride of Silence.
