Let's talk...

Our Wednesday night Bible Study was graciously interrupted by the power of God unto salvation, with evidence of speaking in an unknown language. (Speaking in tongues)

There are different types of tongues!

1. The proof of tongues when you initially receive the Spirit of God or the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:4-11, Acts 19

2. Praying in tongues: When we speak in tongues as God edifies us with supplications & prayers between us & God.
1st Corinthians 14:2,4

3. Prophetic Tongues & Interpretation. This is when someone speaks in an unknown tongue
& they share the Interpretation in a language you can understand (example: When I preach I may speak in tongues while preaching & God gives me a Rhema word from the Lord; directly from heaven. So then I Interpret what God is saying. Or, when someone in the congregation speaks in tongues & someone; either them or another saint of God gives the Interpretation.
1st Corinthians 14:27-28

But, every situation has to be under the authority of the Pastor of the church so that there is no confusion. 1st Corinthians 14:32, 40
