Good afternoon, friends.

First and foremost, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make the 2025 season of the Darlington Farmers Market such a success. Director Candace Gleason and citizen Todd Hardee poured countless hours into creating a market our town could truly be proud of. Their dedication, along with the commitment of our vendors and volunteers, did not go unnoticed.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to reopen the market this spring. While we are not ruling out the possibility of bringing the market back in some form in the future, at this time it is simply not feasible.

Despite the hard work of our staff and vendors, we were unable to come to an agreement with the City of Darlington regarding business licensing in a way that would allow us to compete fairly with surrounding markets.

For now, both Hartsville and Florence offer wonderful markets featuring many talented vendors, and we encourage you to continue supporting local wherever you can.

Thank you to everyone who supported, shopped, shared, and showed up. We are grateful for you and hopeful for what the future may hold.

As we wrap up another wonderful season at the Darlington Farmers Market, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our incredible vendors and loyal customers. Your support, participation, and enthusiasm are what make our market so special.

A special thank you to Todd Hardee and his team for their hard work, dedication, and unwavering support in helping make this season such a success. We are also grateful to the community leaders who work tirelessly to improve Darlington for all—your passion and commitment inspire us.

This season, we have truly enjoyed meeting new friends and bringing together talented local artisans to share their crafts with our community. Thank you to everyone who visited, shared, supported, and enjoyed our market.

We are a go for our special Christmas Merry Market! While the downtown Christmas Festival has been cancelled due to inclement weather, the Darlington Farmers Market will be toasty and dry inside at The Market On Pearl 103 pearl st. 10-2. Don’t miss this last opportunity to visit our community market with local artisan and artists.

🎄✨ Join us on December 6th as we wrap up the season with our final Market Day of the year! Festivities kick off at 10 AM, and we’ll have a full house of amazing crafters, bakers, and makers bringing all the unique goodies you need to finish your gift list—and maybe treat yourself, too! 😉

As the market winds down, the celebration keeps going! The Christmas Parade begins at 2 PM, followed by the Christmas Festival on the Square. It’s a full day of holiday cheer, delicious treats, and family fun you won’t want to miss. ❤️🎅✨
