I wanted to let you know that Bob Pattinson passed away. His grandparents were Evelyn Kendall and Ezra Sommers. His parents were Lauretta (O’Brien) and Clinton Pattinson. There is a celebration of life tomorrow on Saturday at the American Legion in Darlington, Wisconsin from 12 to 4. Our sympathies to his family.

Just a reminder that the Kendall family reunion is coming up this Sunday (Sept. 13) at 250 Main St., Darlington Wisconsin at the Driver Opera House. Please go in either door and take the elevator up to the second floor. You may also take the stairs. Please bring a dish to pass coffee, water, and lemonade will be provided.

Due to a recent change in the laws regarding alcohol at the Driver Opera House, we cannot carry in any alcoholic beverages. Only the Driver Opera House can sell the b**r or w**e. So please refrain from bringing any alcoholic drinks to the reunion this year.

The family reunion postcards were mailed today. If you have moved recently, please private message Jean Kendall to let her know your new address.

Irene Kendall would like to share her Middle Eastern trip photos and memorabilia that she purchased during her trip after the reunion. So, if you can hang around, she’ll be glad to share that information with you.

Be sure to mark the date for Sunday, September 13, 2026 for the Kendall family reunion at the Driver Opera House. It starts at noon and please be sure to tell your children and siblings. We wanna make sure everybody hears about the date.

We want to share with you that our cousin, Joan Remakel, was taken to the hospital this past weekend and was in ICU for several days. Sadly, her body is failing and no further medical treatments can be utilized. They do not know how long she has.

Joan’s children want the Kendall family to be aware and would appreciate our thoughts and prayers.

They also said it would be wonderful if folks could pay her a visit.

Irene and Sam went down today. Three of her kids, Mike, Tammy and Tina, as well as her sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Bill were there. They were all so grateful to be with her.
