🦁 Big thanks to the Darlington FFA Alumni! 🦁

We are incredibly grateful for their generous donation toward the new Lions Pavilion. FFA Alumni President Ashley McCarville, along with Lions Rod Stoflet and Jared Reuter, recently met up at the shelter site to check out the incredible progress!

The cement is officially poured, and we’re hoping to have the electrical wrapped up in the near future.

The goal? Having it ready to roll just in time for Darlington Canoe Fest! 🛶✨

Thank you, FFA Alumni, for helping us build something great for our community!

The pavilion project is nearing the finish line! 🎉 The signs have arrived and will be mounted early next week. After today, the remaining work includes completing the final electrical, pouring cement 5 feet around the building and extending it to the sidewalk on the north side, and installing the signage. It’s exciting to see all the hard work and community support come together as we wrap up this amazing project!

THINGS ARE MOVING FAST IN DARLINGTON!

The Rodney and Mary Lindell Memorial Pavilion is officially in full swing! 🦁

We are so excited to share that the progress is visible! The ground has been prepped, the main supports are standing tall! 🔨

Seeing this massive 50' x 85' structure start to take its shape is a huge milestone for our community. Every board nailed into place brings us one step closer!

A massive shoutout to our local crews and contractors who are working hard to turn this gravel lot into Darlington’s premier event hub. The transformation is incredible to watch!

Keep an eye out for more updates!
