We are a non profit organization that maintains 5 museums of local history: an authentic log cabin , a working forge, a large industrial display of machinery & the like at the McCarl Industrial Museum, The Red Brick Museum ( a two story schoolhouse built in the late 1800s, & the oldest standing building in our area= The Greersburg Academy- once a RR station, a residence, & a school.Built in 1802. Just 3 blocks away from the other 4 buildings.

In the summer of 1909, President William Howard Taft visited Sewickley, joining his old Yale classmate, and Sewickley Valley resident, O.D. Thompson on a trip to the Allegheny Country Club, the estates of Sewickley Heights, and later taking in one of the last Pirates game at Exposition Park (on the North Side) before the team moved to their new home at the famed Forbes Field (in Oakland) at the end of June 1909.
