We are a non profit organization that maintains 5 museums of local history: an authentic log cabin , a working forge, a large industrial display of machinery & the like at the McCarl Industrial Museum, The Red Brick Museum ( a two story schoolhouse built in the late 1800s, & the oldest standing building in our area= The Greersburg Academy- once a RR station, a residence, & a school.Built in 1802. Just 3 blocks away from the other 4 buildings.

Bridge was designed by the Michael Baker Company in Brighton Twp.

First steel was placed in 1974 construction was completed 3 years later .

If you went to Kennywood in the summer and are of a certain age you remember these two Howdy Doody and Henry . These were the height requirements on certain rides .

Howdy Doody was shorter and got you on some of the less thrilling rides . But you just couldn't wait to be taller than Henry. That got you on the coasters.
