🎬🍿 Good Movies, Good Food, and Even Better Company! ❤️

Last Saturday, we enjoyed a wonderful evening with our Generation NEXT families and community! From the popcorn and snacks to watching Bad Counselor together, it was a night of laughter, fellowship, and simply enjoying one another's company!

A special THANK YOU to our Generation NEXT Teen Center and everyone who came out to spend the evening with us! 💙💛

It's moments like these that remind us why community matters. We're grateful for every family that chooses to be part of ours! ❤️

The Teen Center has gotten a little more comfortable! 🙌🏽❤️
A special thank you to our Teen Center Director and Youth Pastors for continuing to pour into this space and help create an environment where our teens can learn, connect, grow, and feel at home. Little by little, Generation Next is becoming exactly what we envisioned—a place for our youth to belong.

Building healthy friendships starts with understanding what a true friend really looks like. 💛
Our Generation Next teens had the opportunity to learn from a South Carolina State University 4-H representative about friendship, trust, support, and the qualities that help relationships grow in a healthy way. We’re grateful for community partners who help pour wisdom and life skills into our youth!

These students have been showing what responsibility, consistency, and leadership look like! They have received no disciplinary notices, stayed faithful with their homework, actively participated in activities, and helped keep their tables and spaces clean.
We are proud of the example they are setting each day. Keep shining, KCS Stars! ⭐👏🏽

Peer tutoring is more than just helping with homework—it’s youth empowering youth!

At KCS, we believe everyone has something to learn and something to teach. Through peer tutoring, our students are building academic skills while also developing leadership, patience, confidence, communication, and responsibility.

The learner receives encouragement and support from someone who understands their perspective, while the tutor strengthens their own knowledge by teaching and guiding someone else.

This is what youth development looks like: students helping students, leaders developing leaders, and everyone growing together.

Different strengths. Same goal. Stronger together.

Our Generation Next Teen Center mentors are creating meaningful activities that help our teens learn, grow, build life skills, and have FUN—and we could use a little help keeping our supplies stocked!

We are currently accepting donations of:

📚 Construction & card stock paper
📖 Magazines for journaling
✏️ Glue sticks & marble notebooks
🍬 Candy for prizes & individual bags of chips
🎲 Board games, card games & other teen-friendly games
📝 Fun educational worksheets/activity books
🌱 Gardening supplies—pots, soil, fertilizer, shovels, seeds, gardening tools, etc.

New or gently used games and gardening supplies are welcome!

Every donation—big or small—helps us continue creating positive, engaging experiences for our teens.
