SADD - Darien Students Against Destructive Decisions, SADD, is an organization run by youth of the Darien community to create initiatives to promote healthy decisions.

Students Against Destructive Decisions, commonly referred to as SADD, is an organization run by youth of the Darien High School community and facilitated through the Darien Depot Teen Center. Members of SADD attend weekly meetings in which they host speakers and organize events for the greater community. SADD addresses a variety of issues that face the community, having expanded from a focus on co

mbating the prevalence of drinking to now addressing everything from underaged drinking, to support of people with mental health issues. SADD is extremely grateful for the grants and donations the organization receives from the community that enable to organization to work toward goals of creating awareness of destructive decisions and increasing the effectiveness of its effort to minimize these decisions that harm youth.
