The Andy Smiles Forever Foundation Andy Peña passed away suddenly and unexpectedly from undetected myocarditis on March 25, 2011, one month short of turning 15.

The Andy Smiles Forever Foundation was established by his family to honor Andy’s life by pursuing charity activities that help prevent and treat sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) and its causes, including myocarditis.
