Our children are in the midst of a mental health crisis, struggling with anxiety and depression at unprecedented levels. The Georgia House and Senate have made substantial investments in resources to address mental health issues. The aerosol that users inhale and exhale from vapes contains harmful substances, including:

--> Heavy metals such as nickel, tin, and lead
--> Ultrafine particles - inhaled deep into the lungs
--> Flavorings to attract users (containing diacetyl, a chemical linked to a serious lung disease)
--> Volatile organic compounds
--> Cancer-causing chemicals
