🚨 DESPERATE HELP NEEDED 🚨
When it rains, it truly pours.
While we're desperately trying to catch up financially from mounting veterinary bills and rescue expenses, the needs of the dogs in our care don't stop. No matter how overwhelmed we are, turning our backs on them has never been an option.
Right now, we are in urgent need of THREE separate fosters for Leo, Dumpling, and Blaze & Danger.
We provide everything for you; training, supplies, crates, collar, leash..everything you could ask for. We just need you to open up your home
📍Dumpling 🥟
Are you looking for the perfect “starter hippo” with extra wiggles and a built-in love of cheese? Well congratulations, your search is over.
Dumpling is a 40-pound, low-riding chunk of love wrapped up in one hilariously adorable package. At around 1.5 years old, this American Bully mix somehow ended up with the legs of a potato and the personality of your funniest best friend.
✨ Dumpling features include:
• Pocket-sized land seal body
• Professional car ride passenger
• Olympic-level cheese detector
• Housebroken AND crate trained
• Dog, cat, and even reptile friendly
• Expert snuggler with tiny-leg zoomie capabilities
Dumpling would prefer a calmer home where she can keep being the best version of herself. She’d thrive with older kiddos and would be happiest as either the only dog or with just one calm dog sibling. Too much chaos makes her little brain short circuit a bit — honestly relatable.
Like many dogs, Dumpling has a past. She previously had an overstimulated moment in a very chaotic environment with barking dogs and screaming children that resulted in a nip. No blood was drawn, and since being in a structured environment, she has absolutely blossomed.
What Dumpling really needs is someone willing to look past one moment and see the incredible dog standing in front of them: goofy, loving, loyal, resilient, and full of personality.
She’s not asking for perfection — just a family willing to give her stability, understanding, snacks, and preferably an unreasonable amount of cheese. 🧀
📍Leo:
Leo is 3 years old and 95lbs
He is an Irish Wolfhound mix
Leo is an energetic but calm and attentive boy in the home. He’s incredibly sensitive, affectionate, and loves being close to his people—he’ll happily follow you from room to room. He enjoys playtime but also settles nicely once things are calm.
🎓 Training Plan:
Leo will be going to a professional board and train program. We are seeking a foster placement AFTER he completes board and train to work on his manners and for him to thrive. An ideal foster would be one to continue his training plan from the board and train facility
⚠️ Important Needs:
• Adult-only or very controlled environment (no young children)
• Low-traffic home with minimal visitors
• Experienced handler preferred
• Can live with other dogs, but must be separated during feeding and high-value situations
*He does chase kitty friends and thinks its a game
Leo can become highly excited during transitions (going outside, mealtime, toys, people coming home), and he has a history of reacting when startled, overwhelmed, or when resources (like food or space) are involved.
🐾 Behavior Background:
Leo has had several near bite and bite incidents involving both dogs and people, typically tied to startle responses or resource guarding. He would do best in a calm, low-stimulation environment where he can feel safe and settled.
🐾 Other Notes:
• Fully housebroken
• Crate trained (used during transitions)
• Walks on leash with collar/harness
• Does not destroy household items
• Has shown curiosity toward small animals but requires supervision
Crate trained for short periods of time
📍Meet Blaze & Danger
These handsome bonded Lab/Pit mix boys are 7 years old and searching for a family willing to give them the chance they deserve.
Blaze and Danger are happy-go-lucky, people-loving dogs who believe belly rubs are one of life’s greatest treasures. They adore human attention and are always ready to make new friends with people.
As a bonded pair, they must stay together. They will need time to decompress and settle into their new home, and they should be fed separately. Because of their prey drive, they are looking for a home without cats or small animals. Slow, proper introductions are recommended with other dogs, and older children are preferred.
These boys may not be puppies anymore, but they still have so much love, loyalty, and joy to give. All they’re asking for is someone willing to look past their age and give them the fresh start they’ve been waiting for.
