What a joy on a typically hectic day to present $5,000 to Anthony’s School for Incredibly Exceptional People with our club and Alabama Kiwanis Foundation matching grant.

Cynthia Ramos is so busy and the school is so awesome developing and teaching each child with their own uniquely designed curriculum just for their own special needs learning.

We’d hoped to get some photos to share of the kids in school, but there was a bit of behavioral issue that took precedence.

This school and these teachers are so dedicated to these children. The children take priority!

The club had the pleasure of hosting the remarkable young men from Compass II Life Services on their first field trip to Montgomery, designed to educate them about state government and showcase a college campus. Fun day for a car show Baldwin Preparatory Academy hosted by their newly formed Key Club, sponsored by Daphne/Spanish Fort Kiwanis Club. They had a car show with a variety of categories and professional mechanics did the judging. They were raising money for the Epilepsy Foundation, in memory of one of their Key Club students.
