We wanted to say a huge thank you to Spanish Fort High School's art class for painting our oyster sculpture!

This oyster was part of the oyster trail art installation spanning Mobile and Baldwin counties. Spanish Fort High School art students painted ours with Alabama state symbols and waterways to show Alabama Wildlife Federation's expansion to southern Alabama. Check out their amazing work when you visit the Delta & Bay Conservation Center!

As a thank you for their hard work, we hosted the Spanish Fort High School art students for a field trip that included painting watercolors on the Delta, learning about our state biodiversity, and meeting live animals found in Alabama. If you are interested in booking a field trip this fall go to the link in our bio!

AWF Delta & Bay Conservation Center staff assisted the Alabama Marine Resources Division today (4/16/26) with installing new signs at the T.R. “Buddy” Beiser Inshore Fishing Reef. AWF and family and friend of Buddy Beiser funded restoration of the reef in 2011. Looking forward to the AWF Delta & Bay Conservation Center Grand Opening Ceremony on Tuesday, April 21st at 10AM. Hope to see you there.

We can't wait to welcome you and share all that's to come!
