Birding Camp was a blast! Our campers spotted 49 different species of birds over the past week of camp. They got to learn all about birdwatching, see least bittern, orchard oriole, and common gallinules, build a birdhouse, and much more!

With warm and wet weather sweeping across the state, many Alabamians worry about the possibility of snakes. 🐍 Come learn about the snake diversity of Alabama and how to manage around these animals at the Delta and Bay Conservation Center this June 12. 5:30-7:30 PM

Our camp tournament winners from last week! To end Fish On Camp, all campers learned about fishing tournaments and got to participate in our very own camp tournament. Some of our campers caught their first fish at camp, and some have been fishing with their familes for years. If your child is interested in angling, sign them up for Fish On Camp this summer!

We wanted to give a huge shoutout to Southern Cypress Bait and Tackle for supplying the bait campers used all week!

We had so much fun during our first Fish On Camp! Campers learned about fish identification, different types of rigging, how weather affects fishing, and more. And of course caught lots of fish!

We want to give a huge thank you to the ADCNR Wildlife & Freshwater Fisheries Enforcement officers and Marine Resources Division for coming out to teach campers about angling rules and regulations!
