Fun Illinois Native Plant Society hike at Middle Fork Woods Nature Preserve, Vermilion County, Illinois.
Wildflowers were a little behind what we expected but we were still treated to some Snow Trillium with flowers hanging on and perhaps the last local Harbinger of Spring plants still in bloom. Other species included Hepatica, Dutchman Breeches, Purple Cress, Spring Beauty, and more.
