Today, we were fortunate to have Aiden Manley with us! Students were led through a workshop focused on time management and stress, and we are so thankful for Aiden’s wisdom, leadership, and time spent with our students.

Our Floral Design class is selling Homecoming bouquets and boutonnières!💐

Think about purchasing a bouquet or boutonnière for Homecoming this year! These are a great way to add a special touch to your Homecoming look while supporting our floral program!

💐 Bouquets:$25
🌿 Boutonnières: $10

You may choose from a variety of ribbon colors to match your style! 🎀

Orders and money are due by September 10th.
*If your order and payment are not received by September 10th, your order will not be placed.*

Pick-Up:September 25th after school until 5:00 PM

💙SEPTEMBER FFA NEWSLETTER 💛

We’re excited to bring back our monthly newsletter! Each month, we’ll share updates about our SAE of the month, Member of the Month, upcoming dates, and other exciting things happening in our FFA chapter!

MEMBER OF THE MONTH: Alison Cool

Alison Cool is a junior at Boyle County High School. She is involved in many agriculture classes and recently competed in the State Floriculture Competition. Alison is dedicated, hardworking, and a leader in our chapter. We are so glad to have her involved in our FFA program!

SAE OF THE MONTH: Nash Helm

Nash Helm is a freshman at Boyle County High School. Nash helps with his family farm, where they raise around 2,500 head of feeder cattle, along with row crops, straw, and alfalfa hay. His responsibilities include working cattle, assisting with daily activities, and helping ensure the farm operation is successful.
There’s a lot happening this September! We’re looking forward to a great month!!

The Boyle County High School Floral Design class is excited to continue our Floral of the Month Club!

Each month, students will design a seasonal arrangement while gaining valuable, real-world floral design experience. Arrangements will be delivered to BCHS classrooms and the front offices of BCMS, Woodlawn, Perryville, Junction City, and the Central Office.

Package A – $275
Includes a floral arrangement each month for the school year (October-May)

Package B – $150
Includes a floral arrangement for thanksgiving, christmas, Valentines Day, and Easter.

Payment is due September 4th.

Thank you for supporting our Floral Design students and helping them build skills beyond the classroom! Please reference the attached infographics for more information. If you are wanting to participate, please fill out the attached google form.

Due to increased costs of flowers and floral supplies, there has been a slight increase in this year's pricing.

🍂 Are you ready for fall?! 🍂

We are excited to be selling a variety of mums this year for our 1st fundraiser of the year! 🌼

All funds raised will go directly toward supporting the operations of our FFA chapter, including purchasing FFA jackets, covering travel expenses, and opening new opportunities for our students!

🌼 Each mum is $15!

Please feel free to fill out the attached form to submit your order. Students will also have order forms at the beginning of the school year if you would like to purchase directly from a student.

Day One of Exec Team Retreat was a BLAST!

A few of our students, and staff, traveled down to Canoe Kentucky to go down the Elkhorn Creek. Laughs were shared, water was splashed, and memories were made!

We are excited for tomorrow as we sit down and plan out the year! Go Boyle County!

What a great day for Boyle County FFA at the Kentucky FFA State Convention!

🎉 Congratulations to Baylee Caldwell for earning 1st Place in Turf and Lawn Agriculture Public Speaking! We are incredibly proud of her hard work, preparation, and outstanding performance.

👏 Our Ag Issues Team also had an excellent showing, bringing home 2nd Place in the state!

🌟 A special recognition goes to Savannah Edwards for her dedication, hard work, and representing Boyle County FFA with professionalism and pride.

🏅 We would also like to recognize our Parliamentary Procedure Team for their efforts and accomplishments at the state level.

We are proud of all of our members for their commitment, leadership, and willingness to step outside their comfort zones to compete and represent Boyle County FFA. Congratulations on a successful State Convention!
