Our Spring Fellowship was a tremendous blessing this afternoon. We enjoyed great food, fellowship with each other, outdoor activities, and had some special guests show up as an added bonus.

We’re thankful for everyone who was able to come and provided food and supplies.

God is good! 😊

Title: Christ's Triumph Over Evil and Suffering
Speaker: Joseph Allen
Series: 1st Peter
Date: May 31, 2026
Bible: 1 Peter 3:18-22
www.sermonaudio.com/sermons/531261620381699

The sermon centers on Christ's ultimate triumph over evil and suffering, drawing from 1 Peter 3:18–22 to affirm that though evil may appear victorious, Christ's death, resurrection, and ascension have decisively defeated all spiritual forces of darkness. It emphasizes that Christ's proclamation of victory has been made to even the evil spirits in prison who sinned in Noah's day, who are also referenced in Jude and 2 Peter. This triumph is not only historical but ongoing, as Christ now reigns at God’s right hand with all authority over angels, powers, and principalities, offering believers profound comfort and confidence in their own trials. The passage further connects this victory to Christian baptism, not as a saving ritual in itself, but as a symbolic identification with Christ’s death, resurrection, and new life—a public appeal of a good conscience to God, rooted in faith and the reality of Christ’s victory. Ultimately, the message calls believers to persevere in faith, knowing that just as Noah and his family were preserved through judgment, so too are God’s people secured in Christ, who has overcome the world and will bring them safely through every trial.

Title: The Superiority of Christ
Speaker: Joseph Allen
Date: May 27, 2026
Bible: Colossians 1:15-20
www.sermonaudio.com/sermons/527262333483215

This sermon presents a profound exposition of Christ's supremacy, drawing from Colossians 1:15–20 to affirm His divine nature, eternal authority, and redemptive work. It establishes Jesus as the perfect image of the invisible God, the eternal Creator of all things—both visible and invisible—thereby asserting His preeminence over creation, the church, and even death itself as the firstborn from the dead. The passage emphasizes that Christ is not merely a created being but the eternal source and sustainer of all existence, holding everything together by His power, and the fullness of deity dwells in Him bodily. Furthermore, the sermon highlights Christ’s role as the sole agent of reconciliation, through His atoning sacrifice on the cross, restoring both humanity and all creation to God, fulfilling God’s eternal purpose to unite all things in Christ. The message calls believers to a renewed awe and worship of Christ, recognizing His supreme lordship and living in daily submission to His preeminence.
