In May, we had the joy of having Laura Sabados (pictured right) who owns Creating Harmony, a health and wellness business offering a wholistic approach to physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing, speak to our club.
She educated us on the effects of stress and offered ways to manage stress better. She guided us through breath work strategies and demonstrated simple evidence based movements that calm our nervous systems.
May is international mental health awareness month which made this presentation very timely.
A huge thank you to Laura to helping us learn how to relieve our stress to better our wellbeing! And thank you to Joy Wood (pictured left) for inviting Laura to come speak to us!
