WE NEED YOUR TRUNKS! 👻🚗

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Danville Area is looking for amazing businesses, churches, and community partners willing to participate in our TRUNK OR TREAT FAMILY ENGAGEMENT EVENT!

📅 Date: Wednesday, October 21, 2026
⏰ Time: 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
🎃 Who: Our Club members, parents, and their siblings!

We are asking community partners to sponsor a trunk, decorate their vehicles, and pass out candy for approximately ONE HOUR!

This is a wonderful opportunity to give back, connect with local families, and help us create a safe, fun, and memorable experience for the children we serve!

Our teens got to experience campus life, explore what NCCU has to offer, and get a closer look at what their future could look like after high school.

Would you like to help make Christmas brighter for a deserving child? The Boys & Girls Club of the Danville Area is seeking individuals, families, churches, organizations, and businesses to sponsor a child this holiday season.

Each sponsor will receive a child’s wish list featuring:

✨ Something they NEED
✨ Something they WANT
✨ Something they would like to READ

All donated gifts must be received by December 4, 2026.

🌟 Help Us Build Young Entrepreneurs! 🌟

We are excited to continue teaching our students valuable entrepreneurial and financial-literacy skills through our Student Bistro Program! Unfortunately, due to recent budget cuts, we have not been able to restart the program—and we need your help.

Through the Bistro, students will learn how to operate a small general store, manage inventory, provide customer service, budget money, calculate costs and profits, and make responsible financial decisions. Students attending our after-school program will also have the opportunity to purchase affordable snacks from the store.

If you are willing to support our young entrepreneurs by donating snacks or drinks, please comment your name below and what you can provide. Some of the items we typically need include:

🍿 Individually packaged chips
🍪 Cookies and crackers
🥣 Nutri-Grain bars and other snack bars
🧃 Juice and bottled water
🥤 Gatorade
🍬 Individually wrapped snacks
📦 Other appropriate prepackaged items

Every donation will help us provide a hands-on learning experience that teaches our students entrepreneurship, budgeting, money management, responsibility, and teamwork.

🚌✨ NEW TRANSPORTATION SERVICES ARE COMING TO THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB! ✨🚌

We are excited to announce that the Boys & Girls Club of the Danville Area will begin offering transportation services for elementary school students beginning August 31, 2026! 🎒📚💙

We understand how important safe and reliable transportation is for our families, and we are pleased to provide this additional service to help make after-school care more accessible.

🚌 Transportation Fee: $50 per month
📅 Transportation Begins: August 31, 2026
🏫 Available for participating elementary schools
💙 Students will be transported to the Boys & Girls Club for our After-School Program.

Program Fees:
⭐ $50 Registration Fee
⭐ $50 Monthly After-School Care Fee
⭐ $50 Monthly Transportation Fee for families choosing transportation

Our after-school program provides homework help, SOL preparation, enrichment activities, life skills, healthy habits, college exposure, and a fun and safe environment for our students!

📢 Transportation space may be limited, so families interested in transportation are encouraged to let us know as soon as possible.

We are excited to continue finding ways to support our children and families! 💙💚
