Hendricks County 4-H Sheep Club

Hendricks County 4-H Sheep Club Hendricks County 4-H Sheep Club is for all 4-H’ers who are in or are interested in the sheep project. Please check this page for the most current info.

We typically have meetings on the first Tuesday of each month but dates do vary. Various topics, such as selection, feeding, vaccinations, grooming, and showmanship are covered at each meeting. Members also learn about the many other opportunities there are for sheep project members such as shows, sales, symposiums, and lamb camps. The Club also hosts Baaaaad to the Bone events each year open to 4-H members from every county.

As animals begin to move into the Hendricks county fair today we wanted to take a minute and say THANK YOU to a group of new sponsors!

A few of our sheep club members came to our entire club with a new idea! They wanted to hire a photographer for their 4H sheep show and provide all the pictures to the 4H members and their families at no cost!!!

The sheep club 4Hers went to work securing sponsorships to make this idea a reality!!

Thank you to our incredible community for supporting the Hendricks County 4H Sheep Club! We greatly appreciate you and your support!

Lamb loot auction tonight!! 6:30pm at the NSSB Arena! Sheep club is cooking hamburgers and hot dogs before the auction! We will have drinks and chips!!

Wear clothes you are comfortable getting wet!

Please bring any sponsors addresses as we will work on writing thank you cards!

Come ready for a great time and a fun way to kick off County Fair season!!! Don’t forget your lamb loot money!!!
