What a great way to start the day with the Danville Sunrise Rotary Club! We enjoyed breakfast and fellowship this morning at Lupita's in Tilton. It's always a pleasure connecting with fellow Rotarians and supporting a great local business. Thank you, Simon, for taking the photos and helping capture another great morning with our club!

Tomorrow morning (October 22nd), we will meet at Lupita's for our monthly social. The address is 200 W 5th St in Tilton. We will meet at 7am. Please bring a friend or anyone you think might enjoy our club.

As a reminder, next Thursday, October 29th is the 5th Thursday so we will not have a meeting.

Just a quick reminder that THIS Thursday, October 15th, our District Governor Deb West will be our Special Guest for our meeting! Carls at 7am! Please remember to bring shoes to present to her for project "Shoes for Orphan Souls".

Tomorrow we will be meeting at Carle at 7:00am. Out host is Kendra this week and my guest speaker is Dana Rowland, Director of Chamber Commerce with Vermilion Advantage.

Also a reminder that next Thursday, October 15th, Deb West, our current District Governor, will be visiting. Please remember shoes to present to her!

We are also in need of bagged candy for the Trunk or Treat on Saturday October 17th at Kruger Funeral Home. If you are able to volunteer with us that day also that would be amazing.

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

This week is our social week and the requests I had were for dinner sooo... this Thursday, September 24th, we will meet at Big Thorn in Georgetown at 6pm. The address is 14274 600 North Rd Georgetown 61846. Please feel free to invite a friend, bring your spouse or significant other, or just bring yourself! The more the merrier!

For our meeting on October 3rd, we will be back at Carle- bright and early at 7am with The Knights of Columbus as our guest speaker. They are one of our grant recipients so there will also be a check presentation. Auston will be facilitating the meeting as President Kendra is out of town.

Also, as a reminder, Deb West (our current District Governor) will be visiting on October 15th (at Carle) and we would like to have shoes for her to take for the Orphan Souls Shoe Collection.

Please let me know if you have any questions and I look forward to seeing everyone Thursday at Big Thorn!

Good Morning & Happy Hump Day Everyone! Hope you are all enjoying the pleasant rain showers and fingers crossed some coolness comes with them!

Tomorrow morning is our 7am weekly meeting. This week we will be ON LOCATION AND NOT AT CARLE! Judy Story is our host and Gerald Drennan is our guest speaker. Our meeting will be held at his workshop and the address is 26180 State Route 1 Danville, IL 61834.

September 24th is our social week - What are everyone's thoughts? Breakfast, dinner at Big Thorn or Salty's? Email Kendra or bring your ideas to the meeting tomorrow so we can make a final decision.

Also, The District Governor will be visiting our club on October 15th. She has continued the Orphan Soul Shoes campaign and we would like to present her with shoes at this meeting so please start collecting. Email or reach out to me if you have questions about what is needed and/or acceptable.

Happy Hump Day!!!

I hope everyone is having a fantastic week! Tomorrow we will be meeting at the Georgetown Fire Department. The address is 211 South Main Street, Georgetown at 7am. Our host this week is Mark Schroeder. Our guest speakers are Rusty Berry, the Interim Fire Chief and Tanya Cheeseman, Assistant EMS Coordinator/Firefighter. They are one of our grant recipients. We will get a tour of the fire station and then do a check presentation.

For our September 17th meeting, Judy is our host and it will be another field trip- this time to Gerald Drennon's workshop. More details to come.

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

Our meeting this week will take place at Carle at 7am on Thursday morning. Our guest speakers this week are Marcie Sheridan, Executive Director of Survivor Resource Center and LaTana Lillard, Director of Prevention Education and Community Outreach.

The Survivor Resource Center is one of our grant recipients so we will also present their check to them.
