Meet Karen Barnes! She serves at Casey County Middle School! Her hobbies are crafting and traveling. A treasured moment is watching the Lord provide in the form of children stepping out of their comfort zone to be leaders. Tishana Cundiff has led her to work with First Priority.

Meet Joel Sparr! Joel serves at Mercer County Middle & High and Boyle County Middle School. He enjoys listening, playing, and making music, skateboarding, video gaming, and watching baseball. Other than God, his motivator to work with FP/PK was wanting to get involved with and meet students who are not in church.

HOPE Spotlight!!

Andrea Patton serves at Walnut Hill Elementary! She serves at Walnut Hill Elementary. She enjoys walking, hiking, and kayaking. This is also her fourth year with Front Porch Fellowship Seeking Scripture: reading through the Bible for the 4th year. She was attracted to PK because she prayed to the Lord that I needed something to do for Him, then a friend mentioned Becky needed an assistant with this ministry so I jumped on the boat! Her favorite moment is the first time we played " Holy Forever" and the kids singing along and other teachers coming to the classroom to join in on the joyful experience. God moved upon young and old( er) hearts that day.

HOPE SPOTLIGHT!!

Meet Becky Wesley! Becky serves at Walnut Hill Elementary. Outside of PK, she enjoys working in flowers, walking, swimming, and enjoying family time. She was attracted to priority kids when Tishana told her what it was. She asked the Lord to help her and she was in. And he hasn’t let her down! Her favorite times with the kids is seeing their interest in becoming closer to the Lord.

HOPE Spotlight!

Meet Gisele “Gigi” Ferreira! Gigi serves at Perryville Elementary. A treasured moment for her is hearing the children pray and experience their faith in Christ and getting hugs from them outside of Priority Kids! Other than God, a good friend from Hawaii was lamenting that the churches were too busy to help in the schools. She is a librarian who was tasked with bringing the community leaders to read to kids for an event and she was trying to fill in with Godly leaders. I was incensed that the church was not willing to help - then God had me look in the mirror to see that I needed to do what I say!
