The Danville Rotary Club recently had the privilege of preparing and serving lunch at Jubilee Kitchen, a remarkable community ministry hosted at Trinity Lutheran Church in Danville.
Every Saturday from September through June, Jubilee Kitchen provides a simple, free meal for individuals and families of all ages. This ecumenical outreach is made possible through the generosity of volunteers from churches, community organizations, families, and friends who come together to prepare, serve, and share fellowship with their neighbors.
Service Above Self is more than Rotary's motto. It is a call to action. Our Rotarians enjoyed working side-by-side to support a ministry that nourishes both body and spirit while strengthening connections throughout our community.
