Sign up now for Learn, Practice & Play. Program starts next week for p*e wees, little aces, juniors and adults

Sign ups end at 9pm Saturday night for our Learn, Practice & Play sessions beginning next week, giving players an opportunity to continue developing their skills, get more time on the court, and put what they’ve learned into practice in a fun, supportive environment.

Session length:
• P*e Wee and Little Aces: Thursdays October 8 through Thursday November 5 (5 weeks)
• Juniors and Adults: Mondays October 5 through Monday November 2 (5 weeks)

Days and Time(s): Monday and Thursdays - See class times by group below
Fee: $55 per participant

Congratulations to Aiden, the overall winner of the 2026 SATA Grand Prix! What an exciting year of competition and growth for SATA players.

The Grand Prix featured four tournaments, four original bag tags, and opportunities to compete at both Stratford Tennis Club and Chatmoss Country Club in Martinsville.

The Grand Prix gives high school-age players a chance to experience true tournament competition, challenge themselves, build confidence and continue developing their game. Congratulations as well to Cole, winner of the fourth and final chapter of this year’s Grand Prix!

And we’re not done yet — the Grand Prix returns in February 2027. We’re also planning our upcoming Awards & Appreciation Banquet, so stay tuned for details.

The SATA Grand Prix Finale is this Saturday, September 19, at Stratford Tennis Club in Danville, and there’s still time to get in the game. Sign up by Thursday, Sept. 17 at noon!

The tournament is $15, and that includes lunch, refreshments, coaching and, of course, plenty of tennis.

We are debuting something new for the final tournament: a brand-new all-white SATA bag tag!

Every player who competes in the finale will receive the new white tag, while the winners of each division will take home the coveted gold tag.

So yes, there’s something to play for!

Players will take the courts at Stratford Tennis Club starting at 9 a.m. as we bring the 2026 Grand Prix series to its finale.

🎾 Junior Tennis Clinics Start Next Week at Chatmoss!

Give your child the chance to build confidence, stay active, and learn a sport they can enjoy for life.

Led by Coach Ken and Coach Kate, who have a combined 32 years of experience and are USTA and RSPA Certified, these fun five-week clinics are open to players ages 5–18, from beginners to advanced.
