These signs mean one thing — PorchFest is almost here!
Danville’s first-ever PorchFest, hosted by Danville Rotary, is happening this Saturday, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate local music and front porch vibes!

Keep your eyes peeled for these “PorchFest Host ” signs as they mark the porches that will come alive with live performances. Grab your friends, bring a lawn chair, and get ready to stroll, listen, and enjoy a truly unique downtown experience.

🎨 PLUS — Art lovers, you’re in for a treat! This event is teaming up with the Gallery on the Square's annual Plein Air Paint Out, so as music fills the air, artists will be set up around downtown capturing the magic of the moment on canvas. It's going to be an amazing weekend to be in Downtown Danville!

The Danville Rotary Club had the unique pleasure of hosting our annual Farmers and Ag Leaders lunch today. Rotarian Gary Emsweller introduced us to Indiana State Department of Agriculture Director, Don Lamb, and Deputy Director, David Bausman.
Thank you to the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds for giving us an amazing venue to gather for lunch.

We had an exciting day celebrating Apple for the Teacher! Our club visited the Danville Community School Corporation to distribute apples as a small token of appreciation for our incredible teachers. Thank you for your dedication to shaping and supporting our youth—we truly appreciate all that you do!

Thank you to Jim Messenger and Mark Branch from the Lebanon Rotary Club for joining us today and sharing their incredible Water Bore Hole Project in Malawi.

They highlighted the urgent need for safe, accessible water in the Ntchisi District and how their Global Grant will help build up to 7 bore holes, improving health, reducing disease, and giving girls greater opportunity to attend school.

We appreciate Jim and Mark’s passion, leadership, and commitment to serving communities around the world. Thank you for sharing your important work with us!

As part of our International Outreach, the Danville Rotary Club partnered with the Rotary Clubs of Abeokuta and Oke Mosan Golden in Nigeria on a joint service project. Together, we provided 1,200 books, 200 backpacks, and 200 pairs of sandals to school children in Nigeria.

We are grateful for the opportunity to join our fellow Rotarians in a project with global impact. The smiles on the children’s faces are a powerful reminder of the difference service can make.
