Have a Ball Foundation & Golf Tournaments Have a Ball Golf Tournaments Bob & his wife Kim Hammer currently host 2 "Have a Ball" Golf Tournaments each year in Danville, CA in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The Have a Ball Foundation has raised over $4,250,000.00 ($4.25 Million) for cancer since 2005 through the "Have a Ball" golf tournaments. The Have a Ball Golf Tournament(s) is now one of the largest privately held golf tournaments in the nation with more than 600 golfers, 50 corporate sponsors and over 200 corporations involved each year. The Have a Ball Foundation benefits 15-20 cancer organizat

ions each year. The foundation has donated over $100,000 to the Sequoia Hospital Foundation, Camp Okizu, the Cancer Support Community, the John Muir Health Foundation and Livestrong. The foundation has created, established and awarded 16 scholarships to oncology nursing students in the San Francisco Bay Area. The foundation has sent over 125 children with cancer to Camp Okizu, a camp for kids with cancer in Northern California. The foundation has donated over $100,000 to the Cancer Support Community to underwrite cancer patient programs and navigation services. The foundation has donated over $100,000 to the John Muir Health Foundation to support children's cancer programs and services. The foundation has donated over $400,000.00 to Livestrong and benefits an additional 15-18 cancer organizations nationwide each year.

Our Story

The Have a Ball Foundation has successfully raised over $3,500,000.00 for cancer since 2005 through the "Have a Ball golf tournaments. The Have a Ball Golf Tournament(s) is now one of the largest privately held golf tournaments in the nation with more than 600 golfers, 50 corporate sponsors and over 200 corporations involved each year. Bob & his wife Kim Hammer currently host 2 "Have a Ball" Golf Tournaments each year in Danville, CA in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Have a Ball Foundation benefits 20-22 different cancer organizations each year. The foundation has donated over $375,000.00 to Livestrong and sent over 85 children with cancer to Camp Okizu, a camp for kids with cancer in Northern California. The foundation has created, established and awarded 14 scholarships to oncology nursing students in the San Francisco Bay Area and benefits an additional 15-18 cancer organizations nationwide each year.
