h school counterpart, the Schlarman Hilltoppers. Danville Saints Football is a member of the Central Illinois Youth Football League. We play Champaign, Urbana, Rantoul, St Joe- so no long distances to travel. We hope that your family will join us in teaching the game of football with an emphasis on enjoyment, sportsmanship and sound character.

Attention Saints!!!!

The Danville Police and Fire Departments lost several volunteers after having to reschedule the game due to weather. The game is being played tomorrow. Any Saints parents or players who still owe fees, we WILL DISCOUNT YOUR BALANCE if you volunteer. If you need community service hours, or you just want to help out, they would appreciate it greatly. PLEASE SEE THE FOLLOWING FOR DETAILS AND PM US IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN HELPING. Thanks!!!

The Danville Police and Fire Departments are hosting their annual charity softball game this Saturday , September 5th at Danville Stadium. This year all proceeds go to five great local charities. We are looking for any volunteers to help with concessions, 50/50, raffle etc. Doors open at 3pm, opening ceremony at 4:30PM, and first game is at 5PM with fireworks following at dark. Volunteers can work at any time frame for a couple hours or as long as they want. The more volunteers we have at the game the more the hours can be broken up!

VARSITY will have film and walk throughs in the gymnasium. NO EQUIPMENT, NO CLEATS.

VARSITY WILL STILL HAVE PICTURES TONIGHT at 6pm. COME IN GAME UNIFORMS. THEY WILL BE RELEASED AFTER PICTURES.

There will be no practice due to the heat index(currently 110), for all other levels.

Make sure all players hydrate so they be good for tomorrow if there is any relief from the heat. Thanks

All Saints Players are welcome to join the Danville Labor Day parade on Monday, September 7! Parade steps off at 9:00 am. Lineup will take place at the Hope Unlimited Church parking lot, located at 428 N. Walnut St., Danville. Please plan to arrive no earlier than 7:30 AM and no later than 8:30 AM. This is optional but a great time for the players. Players wear your jerseys and bring candy to toss if you choose!

Attention SAINTS!

We have pictures as stated in the previous post for P*eWee and Freshman tonight (Tuesday)
Varsity has the night off from practice.

Practice will be limited due to the heat advisory today. Hopefully, it will cool down by the time pictures are done. Walk through and instruction only unless it cools significantly.

Wednesday is expected to be as hot or hotter.

Varsity has pictures Wednesday regardless then will determine if practice will resume afterwards based on the heat index.

There is a possibility that practice will be canceled for all levels due to heat on Wednesday but again, VARSITY PICTURES WILL BE WEDNESDAY REGARDLESS OF HEAT.

Please check emails and facebook tomorrow. I will make the call for practice by 3:30pm.
