Year end round up part 2. Before Christmas our Auxiliary put together care packages for Veterans in local Nursing/Rehab facilities here in Danville.

Time for a year end round up. At our breakfast earlier this month we presented awards to our Patriots Pen and Voice of Democracy Essay contest winners whoalso won at the District Level as well. This was their second year winning at the Post and District level. Well done!!

Today is the 84th Anniversary of the attack. Take a moment to remember all of the Americans who were killed or injured on this day all those years ago.

This evening we had our Christmas dinner at the post. With very good turnout from our members and auxiliary. Santa made an appearance and handed out candy canes and talked to the little ones. A good time was had by all. I would like to give a special thanks to our auxiliary members who spent hours every day this past week setting up tables, hanging lights, making center pieces for the tables and serving the food. Without them the event would not have been the success it was.
