With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved therapy horse, Rosie — also known as Roosevelt, or simply Roo.

Roo had a gift for finding the people who needed him most. He gently pushed caretakers to stand tall, encouraged those who had lost their voice, and embraced anyone who felt different or alone. If he’d had a human vocation, we’re convinced he would have been a bold pastor and a fierce advocate — for both horses and humans.

For those lucky enough to ride him, reaching his “fifth gear” felt like taking flight on Pegasus. His big, generous heart held space for every struggle, offering quiet comfort and unconditional acceptance.

Roo left this world surrounded by the humans and horses who loved him deeply. His presence, lessons, and spirit will stay with us always — in our hearts, our memories, and the lives he touched.

What an honor it was to know you, Rosie. You will be profoundly missed. 🧡
