Hospice provides care to people in the home, nursing home and for brief hospital stays. Patients are admitted for a variety of reasons: cancer, Alzheimer's, adult failure to thrive, COPD, end-stage liver, kidney and heart disease.

“I am incredibly honored and humbled to have been named Lincoln County Citizen of the Year at the 2026 Chamber Banquet. ❤️

I truly love Lincoln County and the people who make this community so special. I am so thankful for the opportunity to serve, give back, and hopefully make a difference in the lives of others.

Looking at the incredible list of people who have received this honor in years past makes this recognition feel even more surreal. To be included among them is something I will never take for granted.

As many of you know, I have the privilege of serving as the Volunteer Coordinator at Heritage Hospice, Inc., and service has always been very dear to my heart. I am grateful that this community has allowed me to do what I love—serve others.
