What a fun day. We started the day participating in the Danville Labor Day Parade then on to the Westville parade. A huge thank you goes out to Penny and Brian of the Willow Barn for the trailer and pulling us in both parades. If you are in need of a special event venue, please read out to them. Awesome people.

Congratulations to all the grads with tails!

Did you know that our Danville, Illinois Lions Club sponsors the harnesses made for Leader Dogs?

Meet the Leader Dog Class of 2026! Thanks to amazing supporters like you, this year’s class of Leader Dogs has graduated! These remarkable guide dogs are already transforming the daily lives of clients who are blind or have low vision.

The journey doesn’t stop here. Our 2027 class of puppies is already beginning their training, and they’re counting on your support to help them succeed.

Thanks to a $105,000 matching gift from AAA The Auto Club Group and Coastal Pet Products, Inc., every donation made by September 30 will be matched. Give today to help twice as many people gain independence, confidence and hope, and download the graduate poster at https://bit.ly/4gcdUKB.

Image Description: A poster with the Leader Dog logo and the words “Class of 2026” near the top of the poster. An orange paw print is in
place of the 0 in 2026. There are 45 headshot photos of yellow or black Labrador and golden retrievers, each with a name written in a graphic of a white dog bone underneath, which looks like a page out of a yearbook. The dogs are wearing harnesses with LeaderDog.org across them. At the bottom left are the words “Our matching gift partners” with the AAA logo next to the Coastal Pet Products logo. At the bottom right is black lab Thelma with her head cocked to the side.
