🎉 JUNETEENTH 🎉
In June 2020, I held the first-ever Juneteenth celebration in Danville at Dan Daniel Park. We followed that up with Juneteenth Jazz on the Lawn at The Museum of Fine Arts and History in 2021.
Since then, life happened. And while we’ve been on hiatus, the vision has never left.
The mission behind Juneteenth remains heavy on my heart — not just to celebrate freedom, but to create opportunities that honor that freedom for generations to come.
Quietly, I’ve been working on something special.
It’s not ready yet.
But when the time is right, it will serve this community in a powerful way.
Freedom was the starting point. Legacy is the assignment.
