Flash Back Friday!
Canary Grass came to us back in May of 2025. She was found in a yard with her 3 siblings. Their mama was tragically hit by a car leaving the tiny kittens to fend for themselves. They were 2 weeks old and the size of newborns. All four of them had bad eye infections. With some TLC the kittens got better and were growing. Once they were older enough they started looking for their forever homes! Two of the babies got to go to a new home together! Canary Grass and one of her siblings (Lemongrass) are still looking for their forever homes.

Canary Grass is an adventurous and independent girl. Her two favorite things in the world are cardboard boxes and springs. She will jump/dive into any cardboard box that she find. If, you give her a spring to play with she'll play with it until it's nap time. Canary Grass makes cute meow/chirping noises that sound similar to a canary. She is a more independent kitty but that doesn't mean she doesn't love a good snuggle.

Canary Grass gets along with dogs and other cats. She comes up to date on vaccines, spayed, and littler box trained.

Thistle may not look to excited about wearing a hat but he has some exciting news!! He is officially cured of FIP!! He was in treatment for 84 days. After treatment he went into an observation period for another 84 days. So, after 168 days Thistle is ready to find his forever home!

Thistle can be a little shy at first but will come out of his shell once he is comfortable with his surroundings. Once his shell is broken he is a ball of energy. He likes to romp and play with his kitty friends. Once playtime is over he is ready for some cuddles. He does like to give little love bites to let you know he wants attention.

Thistle is a friendly boy that gets along with just about anyone. He'll come up to date on vaccines, neutered, and litter box trained.

Look at how cute Brie and Spaghetti are! These two cuddly kitties are looking for their forever homes!

Brie may be very shy at first, but once she's comfortable with her surroundings, her personality begins to shine. She has moments where she really likes playing. Most of the time though she will be found in a cozy spot. She may even come and curl up next to you.

She would do best in a patient, home where she can settle in at my own pace. She gets along with other cats as long as they aren't too rowdy.

Spaghetti is adventurous and loves playing. He will chase his kitty friends and/or any toy he sees. Once play time is over he is ready for a good nap. His favorite place to nap is next to you!Spaghetti is a very friendly boy and will become friends with just about everyone he meets. So, he will do fine in a home with kids, dogs, and other cats.

Both kitties come up to date on vaccines, neutered/spayed, and litter box trained.

Hi everyone, we are Oogie and Boogie! We're the newest members to the rescue! We are both very sweet active kittens. We are currently available for forster to adopt as we a wait our neuters. We thought we would tell you about the importance of fostering!

Orphaned Kitty-Corner is a 100% foster based rescue. This means they don't have a facility/animal shelter to house all of the kitties they help as they wait for their forever homes. So, they rely on foster homes to give kitties all the TLC they need when they wait for their forever families.

When you foster with Orphaned Kitty-Corner they will cover the cost of medical bills and any medication the fosters need. They will provide supply (food, toys, ect) to the foster homes if they have extra to do so. Your job is make sure the kitties in your care get all the TLC that they need. Most of the kitties they take in are neonates, so be prepared to bottle feed. They do understand how stressful it can get to foster multiple kitties, so there is a member of their team available 24/7 to help during the difficult times.

Flashback Friday!
Iris was found abandoned in somebody's yard. Her mom relocated her siblings but left her behind. She was around 4 to 5 weeks old.

Iris is a bit of a spicy girl and takes a bit to warm up to new people. Once she warms up to you she is very loving but on her terms. There will be times where she just flops over asking for pets. She loves to bounce around and play. She also loves her treats. She is not afraid to ask for treats either.

Iris gets along with dogs and other cats. She will come up to date on vaccines, spayed, and litter box trained.

Over the weekend Oogie and Boogie have officially ended their 2 week quarantine period! They are currently available for forster to adopt as they await getting neutered.

Both boys are very active. Oogie's favorite thing to play with are shoelaces. While Boogie really likes toys he also really enjoys attacking his own tail. Even though they are both very active they also love their people.

Boogie is the type of kitty to great you when you get home. Then whenever you are home he will become your shadow. Oogie is a huge cuddle bug. He will give you tiny head boops and purr so loud that it can be heard from across the room.

Both boys are very friendly and get along with just about anyone they meet. They will come up to date on vaccines, neutered (still haven't gotten yet), and litter box trained.

For kitties their age its always good for them to have a friend. So, these two either need to go to a home together or to one that has at least one kitty already.

Did you know all cats with the tabby coat pattern have an M on their forehead! Can you spot the M on Maple's forehead?

Maple is a very sweet girl but is a little shy at first. Once she is comfortable in her surroundings she is ready to show off her sweet/playful self. She loves to play/hunt her toys and fellow kitty friends. She will be bouncing around chasing her toys/friends and definitely make you laugh. Maple really enjoys snack time as well. Once she has played a bit and had a good snack she will be ready for some cuddles.

Maple hets along with other cats. She will come up to date on vaccines, spayed, and litter box trained.
