I have always been on the shy side but that doesn't mean I have any less love to give! Hi I'm Brie! I came to the rescue when I was about 8 weeks old. I'm 2 years old now and still waiting for my forever home. Maybe that home could be with you!

I may be very shy at first, but once I'm comfortable with my surroundings, my personality begins to shine. I have moments where I really like playing. Most of the time though I will be found in a cozy spot. I may even come and curl up next to you.

I would do best in a patient, loving home where I can settle in at my own pace. I do get along with other kitties as long as they aren't too rowdy. I come up to date on vaccines, spayed, and litter box trained.

Happy Orange Cat Appreciation Day!!! Orange kitties are loved by many because of their sweet, friendly, and typically goofy personalities. We thought we would honor our two orange boys on this special day!

Lemongrass is one of our orange kitties for adoption! His coat is actually called buff which is a dilute orange. He is a kitty pack with personality. Whether he's chasing/pouncing on toys or his kitty friends, Lemongrass knows how to keep the fun going. And when treat time rolls around, he's always first in line!

Our other orange kitty for adoption is the very shy but sweet Brioche! He is not your typical orange kitty he actually doesn't share his brain cells with the other orange kitties. He is more of a chill kitty. Brioche is very shy and have to take fluoxetine to help him relax. Luckily, he doesn't put up a fight for his medicine. Once he warms up to you and with the help of his medicine his very sweet personality will come out!

Lemongrass will do good in just about any home. While Brioche on the other hand prefers more of a calm, quiet home. Both of these kitties are good with dogs and other kitties. Both boys come up to date on vaccines, neutered, and litter box trained.

The dynamic duo are still available for adoption! This lovable pair are only $75! Colby is the one cuddling with his foster doggie brother and Pepper Jack aka Peachy is the one laying on the rug.

Both boys are very sweet. They become noddles in your arms if you pick them up. They are very treat motivated and clever. You might need to kitty proof your house as they know how to open doors/cabinets. They also have an odd attraction to humidifiers and will investigate them if one is in sight. Colby warm up faster to new people/surroundings then Peachy does.

They have to take fluoxetine 5 mg nightly for anxiety. For extra stressful situations like the vet they have to take gabapentin. Luckily, their love of food make it easy to give them their medicine. Both boys will take it with a pill pocket or a pill syringe.

Both Colby and Peachy love dogs! They always follow/cuddle with their foster dog siblings. Both of them are also very respectful of their kitty foster siblings. They will come up to date on vaccines, neutered, and litter box trained.

I have been as sweet as can be ever since I was a kitten! I came to the rescue in April of 2025 from Champaign Animal Control. I have been waiting over a year for my forever home. I don't understand why a sweet girl like me have found one yet!

I am a very sweet girl but a little shy at first. Once I'm is comfortable in my surroundings I'm ready to show off my sweet/playful self. I love to play/hunt my toys and fellow kitty friends. I will be bouncing around chasing my toys/friends and definitely make you laugh. I really enjoys snack time as well. Once I have played a bit and had a good snack I will be ready for some cuddles. Oh, I will always make sure your feet/toes are extra clean. I am a professional feet/toe licker!

Aspen is a goofy kitty that is full of love! He is still patiently waiting for a home to call his own. Maybe that home is with you!

Aspen is a very adventurous kitty. He will scale any cat tower in sight. Aspen will also get into any place the peaks his interest. Once he is done exploring he will find a place to curl up. His favorite place to curl up is next to his person.

Flash Back Friday!!
Spaghetti came to us back in August of 2024. Him and his siblings got dumped in a ladies yard. Unfortunately, the lady didn't know that tiny kittens were in her yard and she let her dogs out. The dogs ended up finding the kittens and attacked the kittens. The lady thought her dogs had found a bunny nest and realized to late that they had actually found kittens. Sadly, none of Spaghetti's siblings made it. Spaghetti did have a wound on his neck. With some TLC his wound healed, he grew, and became available for adoption!!

His incident never seemed to bother him! He is so sweet, loving, and adventurous. This adventurous boy nearly waited 2 years for his forever home! He found people his people in July of this year! He is so loved by his people. He gets all to love and cuddles that he could imagine!

Look how cute of a kitten I was and how pretty I became! It's me Canary Grass! I came to Orphan Kitty Corner back in May of 2025. I have been with the rescue for over a year. I don't understand why a sweet girl like me hasn't found her forever home!

I am an adventurous and independent girl. My two favorite things in the world are cardboard boxes and springs. I will jump/dive into any cardboard box that I find. If, you give me a spring to play with I'll play with it until it's nap time. I makes cute meow/chirping noises that sound similar to a canary. I am a more independent kitty but that doesn't mean I don't love a good snuggle.

I get along with dogs and other cats. I do come up to date on vaccines, spayed, and littler box trained.

Ambassador Patrick here! I may be in fospice care but I still have a lot to say. I have friends that are still looking for their forever homes. I know not everyone can adopt but there is another way to help. The other way is by fostering!

Fostering is so important because Orphaned Kitty-Corner is a 100% foster based rescue. This means they don't have a facility/animal shelter to house my friends as they wait for their forever homes. So, the rescue rely on foster homes to give kitties all the TLC they need when they wait for their forever families.

When you foster with Orphaned Kitty-Corner they will cover the cost of medical bills and any medication the fosters need. They will provide supply (food, toys, ect) to the foster homes if they have extra to do so. Your job is make sure the kitties in your care get all the TLC that they need. They understand how stressful it can get to foster multiple kitties, so there is a member of the team available 24/7 to help during the difficult times.

Did you know sugar maples are the most common maple tree used for making syrup! Sugar maples have the sweetest sap of all the maple trees. We have a Maple that is sweeter then the sap and syrup. Our sweet Maple is awaiting her forever home!

Maple is a very sweet girl but is a little shy at first. Once she is comfortable in her surroundings she is ready to show off her sweet/playful self. She loves to play/hunt her toys and fellow kitty friends. She will be bouncing around chasing her toys/friends and definitely make you laugh. Maple really enjoys snack time as well.
Once she has played a bit and had a good snack she will be ready for some cuddles.
