🎳👑 ON TONIGHT’S EPISODE OF KING OR QUEEN OF THE LANES… 👑🎳
What a night.
Every week this tournament seems to find a way to raise the bar, and tonight was no exception. The field keeps getting tougher, the competition keeps getting better, and the stories just keep writing themselves.
🔥 The night started with a bang as AJ Perez came out firing, rolling an incredible 299 in Game 1 and immediately putting the rest of the field on notice.
After four games of qualifying, our Step Ladder finalists were:
1️⃣ AJ Perez
2️⃣ Dillon “Gibby” Elliott
3️⃣ Marty Sweat
4️⃣ Beau Smith
The Step Ladder delivered exactly what we’ve come to expect—great bowling and plenty of that bowling drama.
🎳 Beau Smith got things started by taking down Marty Sweat to advance, but his run came to an end against Gibby, earning Beau a strong 3rd-place finish.
That set up a championship match between the top two qualifiers, and it absolutely lived up to the hype.
🔥 AJ and Gibby traded shots in a match that stayed tight from start to finish. Every frame mattered. Every mark counted.
When the final rock hit those sticks…
🏆 Gibby claimed the title this week by just THREE pins.
Talk about pressure.

To everyone who came out and competed: thank you.
Week after week, you continue to make this event something special. The talent, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit on display are exactly what make Thursday night at Riverside so much fun.
And the best part?
Every week brings new challengers, new storylines, and another chance to climb the ladder and take the crown.
There has yet to be a repeat winner. Think next week is the week? Or do you think someone new will hold the title?
