March is ! Statistics say that 1 in 6 children in the US have developmental disabilities and the majority of those are not diagnosed before starting school. March is a time to raise awareness about the inclusion of people with developmental disabilities in all areas of community life, as well as awareness to the barriers that people with disabilities still sometimes face in connecting to the communities in which they live. At Friendship, we strive to break these barriers by providing quality services that empower those with disabilities to lead dignified lives.
