Thank you to everyone who joined our recent virtual Recruitment & Retention program hosted by SHRM Southside Virginia! Although we had to pivot to a virtual format, the session was incredibly informative, engaging, and full of valuable insights.

We had an outstanding time at the SHRM Southside Virginia session, “Giving Clear Direction to Employees: Job Expectations,” led by Jennifer Leake, CMC®.

Leaders Seminar presented by Dr. Robin Owens

What an incredible seminar! 🙌

We were reminded that great leadership starts from within. The emphasis on authenticity, integrity, and being more people-oriented truly resonated with everyone in the room. One of our biggest takeaways was the importance of pausing to breathe, reflect, and protect our peace so we can lead with clarity and purpose.

We also reinforced the need to address conflict in a timely manner, choose collaboration over competition, and never minimize our capacity to build and grow. We left encouraged, refocused, and ready to keep building.
