One of the best traditions Project Valued Vets helped to continue. When the Never 4-Get Garden was built, the fire pit to retire flags was a priority. John Leverenz did a beautiful job and we loved he had bricks from the old armory to use. Love seeing it used each Flag Day.

Dear D118 Parents,

If you submitted an application this spring for the D118 Camp Invention at Liberty Elementary your student has been accepted. There seems to have been a glitch with the NIH Camp Invention office sending out confirmation. The D118 camp staff sent out emails last night about camp details. Please contact us at the information on the attached image. We look forward to seeing all of our campers at Liberty Elementary this week.

People ask how do we make our display booths. Canva makes the magic. We design the panels and make each piece after sketching and making paper models. Rowdy Star prints the panels and then the hours of cutting out the pieces commences. All the other parts are made on Canva but designed to fot on standard cardstock to keep cost down. When we arrive at the competition, we work our magic and make it all come together. By doing all the design work ourselves and using school printers where possible we keep cost down. Not easy but worth it

Project Homeward Bound is coming into the station! Big thanks to Rowdy Star for taking our design and getting them so cleanly and precisely printed! It is not an easy job for the kids cutting out all the coreplast pieces but is worth the result! Now onto the judges interview at 9 AM tomorrow.

First time in all the years Ms Woods has coached, she was too sick and missed the Display Fair set-up. Know they are in best hands with Courtney Montel & Beth Stahl. These kids also so organized and prepared they will knock out an amazing booth. Definitely they define teamwork makes the dream work 🥰
