We’re sorry for the lack of updates, we wanted to make sure we exhausted every possible option before making the announcement.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to continue the low income spay/ neuter program this year due to lack of grants/ funding. We will continue trying to look for resources to provide the necessary funding and update if anything changes, but just do not have it at this time.

In the meantime, please reach out to your local shelter for direction + updates as well as contacting the North Alabama Spay and Neuter Clinic.

Today is World Spay Day!!

Spay is such an important part of controlling the pet population, help to decrease the number of homeless and neglected animals, and provides amazing health benefits to your fur babies! In spaying your pet, you are not only helping them to live a long and healthy life, but also helping to create a more responsible world for all pets!

Lately we have seen every shelter and every rescue OVERFLOWING with dogs! Litters of puppies, breeding gotten out of hand, dogs with serious injuries, starving dogs, and cats everywhere. A big part of preventing the abuse, neglect, and abandonment is to spay/ neuter your pets in order to prevent unwanted litters!

We offer spay/neuter assistance(as long as our funds allow) for low income families. If you do not qualify for low income assistance, we can help with finding the best + most affordable option for your pet.

Our program relies heavily on donations! We are a 501C3 nonprofit organization & would love to discuss with you how to make a donation!

As we enter into the Holiday season, please consider giving your pets the gift of spay/neuter! We assist all low income families with the cost and if you do not qualify, we will find the best vet to fit your needs! We are constantly working on adding new vets into our network and currently use vets located in Moulton, Priceville, and Decatur! Fluffers and Pedro had a great vet visit on Friday and now are spayed and neutered with help from the PAWZ It program.

Just a reminder of a few of the reasons that spay/neuter is so important! We would be more than happy to help you find the best options for your fur babies, whether it is qualifying for low income cost and using a vet in our network or needing help to finding the lowest cost/ highest quality option for you. We can also help with where/how to get preventatives, vaccines, wormer, etc. for your fur babies!

Think about this fact: One female cat can reproduce and create over 2 million offspring in 8 years. Please have your cat spayed/neutered. There are far too many already looking for homes. If you need assistance, please message our page.
