Hi, Westmoreland community! We’ve gathered some frequently asked questions about our beloved park and we are sharing here to keep everyone informed. If you have more questions, feel free to comment or message us.

1. 🕒 What are the park hours? Westmoreland Park is open daily from dawn to dusk. Enjoy the beauty at your convenience.

2. 📱 Who should we call about people using the park after hours? If you are a resident worried about someone using the park after hours, please contact the Police Non-Emergency line 434-799-5111.

3. 🏀 Can we reserve the shelter for events? Absolutely! You can reserve the covered shelter by contacting Park Services at 434-799-5150. Make sure to book in advance!

4. 🗑️ What’s being done about litter and maintenance? A huge thank you to Danville Parks & Rec for maintaining our park. We can all work to clean up after ourselves and leave the park as beautiful as we found it. Your help is always appreciated!

5. 🎉 Are there any upcoming events? Yes! Don't forget to join us for National Night Out on Tuesday, October 8th, 4:30-8:30 p.m. This year, the kickoff will be at Westmoreland Park at 4:30 p.m. There will be food, activities, and fun for all!

🤝 **A Community United!** 🤝

The grand opening of **Westmoreland Park** is a celebration of our community's strength, resilience, and unity. Since 2016, the Westmoreland Neighborhood Organization (WNO), in collaboration with the City of Danville and the Danville Regional Foundation, has worked tirelessly to transform the former Westmoreland School property into a welcoming space for fun, play, and community events.

The City of Danville Parks & Recreation will maintain the park, as a neighborhood park, open to all residents of Danville.

Join us on **Thursday, June 27**, at noon for the ribbon-cutting ceremony and enjoy an afternoon of festivities.
